Yeah, so, I haven’t posted in FOREVER! Sorry about that. I have been preoccupied with…..okay, you got me. I’ve been completely bored all week long since it’s vacation and I really don’t know what to do with myself. And I kind of forgot about the blog.

Well, it’s that time of year again. I love Christmas, but I don’t like shopping. It’s not that I don’t like giving other people stuff, because I do, I just don’t like having to go into the stores when it’s so crowded. Maybe that’s why most of my gifts are handmade? Anyways, I’m not going to go through how we should remember the real meaning of Christmas because I’m sure you’ve all heard it a billion times and to hear it again is really just not fun. But I will say something you probably get sick of hearing: keep the meaning of Christmas in mind. There, see? Was it really so bad to have to hear it just one more time? One thing I don’t like about Christmas: Santa. It’s just weird! If you really, really think about it, it doesn’t make any sense. Here are some questions I have about Santa: Where does he get the supplies for his toys? Where do the elves come from? How do the reindeer fly? Does Santa visit remote islands that we don’t even know about? Why doesn’t he freeze to death? Are kids who don’t believe in Santa counted as naughty? How does a fat man fit down a skinny chimney? How does he know who is awake and who is asleep? How does he know if they have been naughty or nice? Where does Santa get the coals for the naughty kids? And more importantly: Why does he even bother? So you see, after some careful consideration maybe it’s time to rethink Santa. Now, I am not trying to put down Santa because I know probably lots and lots of people are really into the whole Santa thing. Really, though, Santa leaves no room for logic and common sense.
